In collaboration with Goldenearth Studio, I had the unique opportunity to utilise clay sourced directly from a South London building site. This clay, once refined, danced layer by layer through the meticulous 3D printing process, ultimately manifesting as this sculptural lamp. Nestled in its lower half, moss introduces a touch of organic vitality. LED lights, embedded within, have their brightness modulated by a lidar sensor, altering intensity based on proximity. This piece subtly encapsulates the intricate relationship between humanity, technology, and the natural world.
