Floating Planter seeks to create an assembly of discrete ceramic elements that are unified with their arrangement and textural geometry. Each ceramic piece is suspended with a steel and teak structure and contains soil from which plants can grow. Specific areas of the ceramic surface are glazed with a fine crackle glaze over a glossy turquoise finish adding a further level of detail at the smallest scale.
