Together with Loukis Menelaou and Nicholas Collee, we conceptualized "Message from the Stars" — a towering two-metre interactive sound sculpture crafted from reclaimed metal, intended for the Houghton Music Festival. Centrally nestled within its metallic arc was a resonant gong, designed to amplify in volume as festival-goers approached. Envisioned as an otherworldly apparatus that had touched down on Earth, it was meant to offer a serene oasis amidst the festival's fervour, providing attendees with a tranquil and contemplative retreat. Unfortunately, due to the unforeseen circumstances surrounding COVID, the festival was cancelled and our ambitious design remained unrealized.
