3D Printed Ceramic Street Sculpture

"Liquid Restoration" is a thoughtful intervention at the historic site of Alexandra Palace, where the vestiges of time left their mark in the form of a damaged ornament. Rather than adhering strictly to conventional methods of restoration, the piece invites contemplation about the evolving nature of preservation. Using 3D printed ceramic, the sculpture seamlessly continues the original stone's form before gracefully diverging into a fluidic deviation. This deliberate choice challenges our perceptions of conservation, suggesting that perhaps the true essence of restoration lies not just in mimicking the past, but in integrating contemporary interpretations, thus forging a connection between the epochs and breathing new life into the storied remnants.
