"Big Bird" emerged as a vision, an artful blend of form and function, co-conceptualised by a dynamic team: Loukis Menelaou, Nicholas Collee, Zuzia Rostocka, and myself. A mesmerising collection of 1,000 "flowers" made up the heart of the design. Each flower, an elegant fusion of handcrafted origami perched atop flexible wooden poles, would dance and sway gracefully to the rhythm of the wind. Nestled at its core was a distinctive feature: a bouncy, cushioned seating arena. Here, festival attendees could recline and luxuriate amidst the "field," absorbing the ambient energy while basking in the dynamic sway of the flowers around them.
