House for a Herbalist - 2018

2nd Year Project

The "Euston Bus Stop" concept envisions a rejuvenated touch to a monotonous spot in Euston. Imagine a delicate metal framework, thoughtfully sprayed with a blend of concrete embedded with seeds. From this frame, 3D printed ceramic pots would hang on slender, cantilevered arms. As the design imagines, over time and with nature's intervention, the pots would collect soil and sprouting plants. In this envisioned transformation, the initially upright metal arms would start to gracefully bow towards the ground, drawing a poetic line of connection to the adjacent Euston Park. It's a conceptual interplay of urban engineering and natures adaptability.
